Coaching & Counselling Experience
- I have 17 years in blue-chip multi-nationals - most as a manager of people & projects, has taught me a great deal about why people sometimes fail, and how to help them succeed. I combine this experience with my coaching skills in the service of my clients.
- During three years as a freelance lecturer, I learned a lot about relating to and helping people from all walks of life, and I also learned what a pleasure that was. This experience helped me find my vocation in life coaching.
- I have taught coaching to coaching academy graduates; I was an inaugural member of The Coaching Academy's inner circle, and one of only seven members of it's executive committee - overseeing the ethics of coaching in the UK.
- Since graduating with distinctions in the theory and practice of coaching, from the coaching academy in January of 2004, I have coached a large number of clients presenting disparate coaching challenges.
Personal History
I was born in 1959. I have an honours degree in computing and electronics.
My first career was in IT and IT management, where I became European IT Manager for an account of the General Motors financing company - GMAC. Doing a little coaching on my own life, I moved away from corporate existence in 1997.
After my split from corporate existence I started my own online E-Commerce business, and one of the websites involved is now, we believe, the largest of its kind in the world.
I spent three years as a part-time freelance lecturer at Bedford College - teaching Business IT and web page design.
These days I consult on business management and business coaching, and I run my own coaching business - along with my coaching team.
How Can I Help You?
I have a great deal of real-world experience spanning 20 years as a manager and teacher which I can use to help you in your situation.
I use a cognitive approach to coaching, dealing with the world the way it is - not the way we wished it were. But I also know how important our thinking is; it turns out the world we live in is not "out there" but created between our ears. I can help you to ensure that your view of the world and your place within it are accurate. When that's in place, we can move forward. I'll keep you positive, resourceful and focussed.
I use techniques from a variety of sources: my corporate
experience, lecturing, cognitive coach training, neuro-linguistic program
and ad hoc techniques developed specifically for you and your situation.

Services & Pricing
Private coaching by phone is £50 per session. Sessions run for 45 minutes. Discounts are available when you block book - a set of four cost £45 each.
