Privacy Policyby Chris Wesley
There is a vast body of free self-help articles on this website which you can access directly through your browser. Some of our free resources are delivered by email, and in those instances we need your email address to send it to you. We generally invite you to sign up for our newsletters at that time. You'll need to un-select this option if you prefer not to receive newsletters. If you sign up your email address and (optionally) first name is kept in our database and used to send your newsletters. All of your emails contain an un-subscribe link, so you can easily un-subscribe at any time. If you provided other personal information whilst collecting your free resource (like the personality test or the you at work survey, for example), then this is also placed in our database so that it can be used to generate your free analysis or report. We may also use this data to guide our product offerings and our marketing activities. For example, if it turns out that the biggest problem people say they face at work is boredom, then we'll see what we can offer bored people, and then tell them about it. This data is not shared with anyone else. When you use this website, or subscribe to our newsletters and other services, we collect information about your usage of those services so that we can understand how effective we are in providing you with what you want, and how we can do better. Here's what we collect:
Worried? If any of this worries you, think of it like this. If you go into a shop, the shop keeper can see you come in. They can see what you're wearing, see what you look at, what you pick up and what you buy. If you speak to them, they can hear you and answer you. And they use that information to try to make their shop work better - removing stock that no-one wants, responding to customer enquiries with new offerings, and so on. Working online is no different and nothing sinister is happening. We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we don't share it with anyone else. If you have any concerns, you are welcome to contact us here.
